I think so. I just bought my '90 F-250 4x4 a while back (see previous post for pics) and at the time or purchase only the front tank (dual tanks) worked. No a big deal, probably the switch, worst case the sending unit. Well in the last couple days I pulled out the Tank switch and tested it, checked the wiring and so forth and found the Sending Unit/In-Tank pump to be bad. So I start phoning around knowing thats its going to cost me since the sending unit and low pressure in-tank pump come all as one part. Well After phoning about 5 places, the cheapest for the whole unit was $320Cdn. Needless to say, that has me debating whether I really need to use 2 tanks. I like to have my vehicle in good working order, not "good enough" for now style. So I'm checking the local junkyards to see if they ahve a good used one. Anyone else getting bent over for parts lately??? /End Rant
my mistake, i thought you had the 5.8 for the 5.0 its 119$ US if you want to give me the money i can buy it and sent it to ya lol
check out http://www.lmctruck.com/index.htm get a catalogue. for a 19gal take for a 90-91, they have it for 159.95 in the catalogue.
Well, im going to see what I can find around here, or probably end up ordering one off the net. I can't believe how the prices around here could be so high.
An exhaust gasket is about 200$. ACV's are 400$ Vacuum tubing 3"s in length are up to 10$ Oil injector (a basic valve nothing more) is 80$ An air flow meter (basically a variable resistor with a metal housing) costs about 1500$. You name it, its expensive. It sucks.
Nope. NAPA is the best place when it comes to finding parts. Other than that its just local stuff. (I wish we has a Lordco Auto Parts in town).
