Racing fans, quit your jobs. Drop out of school. Sell your children and divorce your wives. Forza 2 has shipped.

If you've played the demo on the Xbox 360, you know what you're getting yourself into -- what could quite possibly be the best racing game yet for GT fans. Forza did an excellent job with its first round, offering great graphics, a wide variety of cars, damage, and decent AI (not to mention a billion or so other neat features).

Forza 2 continues the legacy with plenty more cars, sharper graphics, better damage models, and enough car customization to appease even the biggest tuners. Then add in some incredible physics and a solid 60 frames per second of action. Since the game shipped today, there's a chance you can find it in some stores in the right places already, but I know here in Washington it's not quite ready to purchase the local EB Games or Wal-Mart. Maybe tomorrow morning... I did see several of the wireless force feedback wheels that are now priced at $119 though. Canadian users: The wheel is on sale at Futureshop / Best Buy stores for $99 CDN.

Xboxyde has a video showing the first 10 minutes of the game. They also posted a 720p video showing a complete lap of the lengthy and beloved Nürburgring track.

If you don't own an Xbox 360, find someone that does. Tell them to buy this game so you can leech their power bill for all it's worth. Has anyone here picked it up yet? Anyone have it pre-ordered?

    Here's a video of Forza 2 being played on 3 40-inch Samsung M8 LCDs.

You need 3 consoles, and 3 copies of the game to do this.
