Footage From Halo 3 Beta Leaked

    Last night footage from the Halo 3 beta got leaked to youtube. It was awesome, but a tad blurry. Today a higher-def version is on GameVideos.

    The video features a remake of the Halo 2 map Zanzibar called Last Resort. This clip has everything, including but certainly not limited to:
    • a good impression of the new UI
    • The Mongoose (the ATV rumored before Halo 2's release)
    • The Bubble Shield

    I saw this as well yesterday. I actually got the full source version, sadly it had the same god awful music over it.

    I must say though, this definitely excites me, makes me want to play it so much more!

    Yeah, say that... I will say its not spectacular, but Halo 2? You have to be retarded to think its at Halo 2 level. The fact is, its a 720x480 resolution video, we dont even know if he was using an HDTV or something that could handle HD. So even by that standard it looked great. There are so many things people dont see or notice because they just so "Looks like Halo 2." Well maybe I should be like "Well it looks like you just broke the rules. Bant!" Well that wouldnt be right, cause you didnt break the rules did you... but it looks like Halo 2?

    Edit: Just want to clarify that I am in no way threatening Xen or anyone with punishment as nothing was done wrong. You have the right to your opinion Xen, I just took an extreme analogy without further clarifying myself. Hope no one misunderstood that. Much love even if you think it looks like Halo 2, which it doesnt!!

    It does look a lot like Halo 2. :D At least in this video anyway. And the music makes me ears bleed.

    The level design looks cool. Halo's a great game series though and I'm sure this isn't representative of the final product anyway.

    just give me the game now and ill be happy. i think they should give us the beta tell the full game comes out just for the crap they pulled with the ending of halo2. oh well hahaha
