i took some video while snowboarding yesterday, and decided to try and stitch into one movie. it worked out pretty well, though i wish the video were better quality. it's really shaky and just taken from my canon powershot sd400. but the program is pretty basic. i might look into a different movie editing program if i decide to make anything else. anyways, it turned out better than i expected so i thoguht i'd share. and yeah, i emailed band of horses and got permission to put their song in my video... /sarcasm anyways, i'll just link to my myspace so you guys can see it. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.myvideos&MyToken=196bfcf5-7949-48a6-83e4-4e0b94d50be6 edit: YouTube - mammoth 2008
oh yeah, forgot about youtube... anyways, why? are you so against myspace? edit: I've gotta drive aways now. i'll put it on youtube later.
I don't know what type of camera you were using, but my friends got this camera for their dirt bikes. Digital Hero Camera Home I thought it would be some cheesy video, but it is actually very good, I was suprised. It is waterproof to 100ft. Might be something to look into if you are going to get into doing a lot of video making.
well, my camera could only take a couple minutes of video. i actually changed the record resolution for one section, but it expanded itself in windows movie maker automatically which was convenient. i edited out maybe a total of 5 seconds to get the clips to sync up to the music. all in all it took about an hour and a half to put it all together. and a good majority was picking a song and then syncing up the transitions of the video to the transitions in the song. i'm going to mammoth again on saturday hopefully. I'm gonna try and take a lot more video. maybe jumps and stuff. and definitely faster.
