I just saw this recent video for UT 2007 and I can't say I was impressed.

    View the 7800 Demo movie:

I realize the game is still under production but this level looks pretty much complete and I just don't see anything new or nice aside from the good looking character models which don't mean much in fast action FPS games, IMO.

I am, I'm wondering if thats really a 7800, fear can barely run on a 7800, and this game is more intense, better looking and runs pretty damn smooth.

I've probably subjected myself to UT 2004 too much because, in all honesty, it looks like the same shit. Graphics only do so much.

I'm impressed by the tech but I could do without seeing another version of UT that's basically a higher resolution rehash.

While I personally have no problem shelling out $50 for an upgraded version of Unreal Tournament every few years, I know not everyone agrees. Hell, original UT still looks pretty damn good and is immensly fun.

On the other hand, there have been some cool titles announced that use the new engine.
