I have an HP all-in-one Touchsmart PC with a AMD Radeon HD6410D graphics card. I have a flash animation that is 1680 x 1050 px. Problem is the available resolutions only go up to 1600 x 900. The video is cropped when displayed (Flash Player 10) in full screen mode. I have tried installing Catalyst drivers / CCC but the display starts blinking random colors avery second or 2 and the system becomes unresponsive (locked-up). Question: Is there a utility out there that will allow me to resize the desktop to 1680 x 1050 px?
I ran in to similar problem with CCC/drivers. The card i was using was 4870, after installing latest version my display blinks and BSOD. Solve that issue by using old version. For me 12.2 did the trick. Not sure if this will be much help. GL.
only thing that comes to mind is powerstrip go "acquire it" and try it out other than that if its just 1 flash animation, and a temporary, external display might be the way to go
