Converting DVDs to MPEG2

    Does anyone know a good program to convert DVDs into .mpg format? I need to convert an educational DVD and split it into 10 minute segments and put it on youtube. This is an educational DVD for a fraud class for an accounting fraud class and not a movie from one of the big Hollywood giants

    Any suggestions?

    Ultimatey I have to get the footage off the dvd and online for class viewing for an online class using the blackboard system.

    DVDs are MPEG-2.

    Why don't you use Handbrake and convert them to MPEG-4?
