EDIT - DailyMail.com sucks and changes stories to make them more interesting for people at the cost of others.

A true alcoholic. If one has to explain, you'd not understand.

Yep. Addictions like that are really difficult to fend off. And when we think we've seen the highest level of addiction, there's another one right after.

Usually, addicts are scared by such signals emitted by their bodies. The ones that aren't are the worst. And the most difficult to understand.

That liver could have gone to save a human life, what a shame.

Totally agreed. In a pure evolutionist perspective, addicted patients like that should die. It's not a strenght for humanity to put some efforts in keeping alive a person that doesn't cherish his chance.

I mean.. you become addicted, your liver is scrap. You understand the message, go on the redemption lane, get detoxed and grow from your mistakes. I wouldnt deny medical care to such people.

But there's others, like this girl. Or crazy mofos on oxygen tanks (lung cancer) that are still smoking. Infuriates me!

I'm not in disagreement here. The screening proccess failed and/or was give
an eronious eval. Either that or her parents or sugar daddy paid someone off. In which case, money and liver wasted.

This kind of shit pisses me off, as I know 3 friends that are still waiting for liver transplants that deserve it. That girl never deserved it to begin with.....

it said that she only went out twice a week, how the hell does that have you getting a new liver?

Jesus christ, how much would you have to drink before needing a new liver when your 19!!!!!
I'd think that you'd have to be drunk, everyday for the next 5 years before you need a new liver..

This isn't too surprising, excessive underage drinking is a huge problem in the UK. Everywhere, there are gangs of kids that go out with the sole aim of drinking as much as possible every night. A lot of people I used to know started in their early teens. Half the problem is all the shops that are quite willing to sell stuff to kids that are obviously too young to drink legally.

right to everyone that reads what the newspapers and magazines write you must be stupid! if they wrote the truth no one would buy them as they would be boring...!
YES I have had a liver transplant yes im 20yrs old and NO it wasnt due to drinking!
I cant believe how many people on here have wished harm on me its perfetic.
I was still in hospital for at least a month after my operation so I would love to know where I was seen drinking, and when I did come home I could hardly walk never mind go out on the piss!
My transplant was an emergency I had just a few hours to live and I appreciate everything the hospital and all there staff did for me! The big issue I want to focus on is my donor family! I cant believe all these storys have been splashed across nearly every cover of every newsaper!
That family has already been through enough they dont need to read all this rubbish especially after everything they have done for me! I am so grateful to them that I could never even explain how I feel!
so to everyone that has commented I hope your really proud of yourselves! Never judge someone you know nothing about!
