    This weekend the moon is as close as it gets to the Earth (perigee or periapsis) PLUS it's a full moon.

    Therefore, the moon will appear 14% BIGGER than normal and 30% BRIGHTER.

    PLUS, it's Cinco de Mayo so there oughta be some really crazy shit hitting the fan tonight!
