On a bit of a budget, cant go spending hundreds on good cooling.
Just wondering what the best budget heatsinks were? and is the new Zalman as good as it says it is?

CNPS 7000 ALCU or the 7700ALCU, 7700 is a little bigger and a little nosier and doesn't preform that much more so i say the 7000

The newer the CPU, the smaller the die size and smaller the die size the lesser the heat. I made a good investment when I bought my Super Socket 7 GlobalWin heatsink/fan for my Cyrix 6x86 PR200+ 7 years ago and it is still cooling my 2500+ cpu with minimal efforts !

Accually the newer cpus have a bigger die. And as far as cpu cooling goes use the one that comes with the processor, its sufficient enough.
