I want to convert some shows I'm watching and put them on my ipod. What's the best program to do this?
I haven't tried any of these, but they are the NoNags favorites. (NoNags is my favorite site for finding good legitimately free software) Movavi Video Converter Quick Media Converter has FFMPEG at it's core. WinFF, a gui shell for FFMPEG If you don't mind a command line utility, then just use FFMPEG itself, and I wish you luck in command-line-switch hell...
i use FLV to x. Have a htc touch pro so video after conversion looks pretty good no complains yet... To more fine tune your you selected format you have alot of options.
Does that FLV to X convert from formats other than FLV to formats other than FLV? The site doesn't say, and the title of the post mentions AVI to MP4...
My apologies. Yeah they do, just need proper codecs. Just earlier i converted avi to H264. The sub and the video worked fine on the phone. I have also tried iphone mpeg 4 format. That worked fine. As for the rest not sure since i havent tried them. I mostly use it to convert FLVs and avi to fit my phone res.
I have been using a program called "any video converter" and it works great for me. Very simple to use and converts videos fast and in batches. Download Any Video Converter 2.72 - FileHippo.com
