I dont like talking politics but this is crazy. http://www.naturalnews.com/035301_Obama_executive_orders_food_supply.html http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press...order-national-defense-resources-preparedness
Is this any different from wartime rationing? Haven't read the whole thing but this article seems a bit sensationalist.
If this is indeed true it's nothing new. We waste so much in this country but when it comes down to crunch time as it did in the 20's and during WWII, rationing was a necessary evil. It sucked but it made us better in the long run. It's a big deal because Obama is the current President and people are wondering how he can sign something that rations us but, he spends hundreds of thousands to go sip a beer somewhere or to go on vacation. Lead by example I guess? Stuff like that bugs people. His signing this, doesn't bug me in the least. It may help us if the shit does hit the fan. You want to stand in line for a day to get 2-3 rolls of toilet paper like what happened in Russia 20 years ago? I sure as shit don't!
Yes, and the bills that are related and all references to other bills. Sounds like a guv takeover measure to me. Once people in the heaviest armed nation on Earth start getting really pissed off in sufficient numbers what else could a guv do? At the very least, we're in a pickle and it's undeniable that nobody knows how to get us out of this mess. Call it preparedness. Just don't let anyone believe it's a good idea to sacrifice the 2nd ammendment. It was put in place for this exact thing. DHS..............>http://www.lewrockwell.com/rep2/dhs-strip-search-everyone.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_Homeland_Security As for the guv "march onto your farm with guns drawn and demand all your crops, seeds, livestock and farm equipment." There are many ways that they can now and have in the past. They just need to make the tail wag the dog. Any new legislation just makes it easier to deal with the aftermath and/or sway public opinion to OKEEDOKE any move the guv makes. One thing I've seen that we really need to worry about, is the "feeding" of stories like these to the public by the man so that we'll concentrate on this and not some other shenanigans afoot. AKA: watch the right hand so we don't notice what the left hand is doing.
It's an executive order, not a bill. It seems to be authorized by existing laws. Plus I read terms such as "contracts" and "orders" as in buying rather than seizing. Furthermore, for what its worth, the 5th Amd. prevents govt. taking w/out just compensation, though, admittedly, that clause has about as many holes in it as the rest of the Bill of Rights.
Yes, setting up a legal precidence in a "proccess" not an "event". So is : "formulating" options "training" public opinion "pruning" the bill of rights "harvesting" sacrificial assets Things of most concern should be the items that don't go through congress such as: http://www.reuters.com/article/2012...20120323?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&rpc=76 http://www.technolog.msnbc.msn.com/...ps-could-be-overtaking-web-says-report-528483
Yes....the Russians that were the top shitterz (full of the most shit) were the ones who really had a hard time.
