its only 3 weeks away................ i got same way when xb360 came out. i already have look at ever info /forum and trailer i could find. learn a few cool things because ps3 only comes composite red yellow and white. ps3 uses same cable as ps2 video connection so if got ps2 hopfully its component[red/green/blue]you can just plug and play. hd here you go. 60 gig verison has wi-fi wireless[thank god i running out of ports i got 2 router running here] and ps3 come with blu ray of taladega nights: the balad of ricky bobby wii use sensor bar that will work on any size tv and type. use pixel by pixel movement. this is good for use with projectors [96in baby] wii online service broswer will be free to launch customer till june 2007. wii has wi-fi built in but if want to run a cat5 cable you got to buy adapter memory card it uses is standerd sd card you can get 1gig one off newegg for $15.
They both look like shit. I was kind of excited for Wii, but thats back when I thought you could control the new games with the gamecube controller, and all the motion BS was optional, for people who wanted a "new experience." I want to play the new zelda, I want to play Mario Galaxy, but fuck. I don't want to look like I'm dancing along to a Richard Simmons aerobics tape to do it. PS3 is a joke, but it'll still take off and end up dominating in a year or so because of mindless cocks who buy it based on the brand name alone. Despite not a single positive thing being announced in regards to it.
I don't have money for the Wii currently, so no. I went apeshit when the 360 came out.. I camped out and everything.. Wound up selling it for 600 bucks a month later ;(

I like PC. It's half the enjoyment knowing I'm gaming on something I put together. Buying a console would be like buying a Dell. Too bad more of the console games weren't available for the PC.

Lol, I chuckled out loud in class cuz of this. I'm pretty excited about the Wii. It actually looks fun and I'm sure there will be some games that are just plain ol' controller based. I just finished Wind Waker so I'm dying to play LOZ:TP. I figure for that alone it's worth the Wii. I havent been disappointed with my Gamecube or my DS so I give Nintendo the benefit of the doubt.
I want to get a wii, but traveling left me with no money, so I have to wait for a paycheck to come in.
I'm more excited for the PS3 than I was a few months ago. The hardware/os is finally all coming together and it does some cool things. I'm still out on the Wii.. I'll have to get some hands on time before I know if I'll like it or not.
i didnt get any preorders in so i had to calm my ass down. Seeing as i probably wont get my hands on either before christmas i just said fuck it.. i'll let the guinea pigs test drive the consoles.
i got 17 ,18 and 19 off and i'm waiting 24 hours again at my work for both. 48 hours no sleep! i doubt ill sleep much in between that. we getting 5 wii and 3 ps3 $599 and 2 $499 ones
Damn, gonna sell them I take it. If I had the money I would have got a few PS3's just for profit. I dont own a 360, and I probably wont own PS3 or Wii any time soon. Im fine with it, when I do decide to get some new consoles, they will be cheaper and Ill have all the good games to play. No waiting with an uber expensive console!
i got to demo the wii and ps3 today at manager meeting . ps3 was cool pretty graphics i wouldnt saw better then 360 ..but blu ray demo was cool and tilt controller really works . now the wii rocked my socks. golf owned and baseball and surgery game the controller was really nice work great it moved 10x better then i thought it could. i told the rep dont take this wrong way. i'm going to hit you in back of the head and steal this shit. i have been giggly all day now.
Not at all. I have a 360 and thats all I need. I hoping the PS3 fails and I think the Wii is just a huge gimick.
Yeah, I'm sure that a lot of the complaints about the Wii have been fixed since it's initial testing at E3. I think the majority of the problems with wiimote tracking had to do with software rather than hardware. I'm all over the Wii, at least, as soon as they're available without a preorder. Which may be a while. I don't think the PS3 is going to sell that many in comparison to the Wii for the initial release dates. But I think they will sell more PS3's overall, especially after a price drop. People are very loyal to the Sony PS line. Nintendo is basically acting as a new company in the world of competitive consoles since they haven't really had a insanely popular system since the SNES.
If I got anything, I'd get a Wii, but I'm not going to get anything. My computer, and my dinosaur Playstation with FFVIII is enough for me. I haven't even bought any computer games since Half-Life 2. I am the dreaded satisfied customer that is the bane of the game industry...

I hear the ps3 is gonna have insane load times. Something like 40+ seconds. I don't know if that's from the menu to the game or just like map to map. Either way, seems like a long time.
it does, but i read something about how it will use microsofts idea and cache some of the information on the HD to kill load times so those 40 seconds are only gonna happen once, after that... less but who knows by how much?
I have no desire to buy either at this point. I've hummed and hawed, but what's the point? To have yet another console sit there while I do nothing with it? My PS2 is still sitting in the plastic bag I wrapped around it when I went out of town on business back in September, and my PC I only ever use to check email and look at pr0n now and then. If I had to choose one, the Wii is pretty cool just because of the whole new concept of actual game interaction. Otherwise, nah...not worth the money or the effort.
