It used to be common knowledge and belief that the world was flat. The mayan record reflects the beliefs that were accepted due to ignorance of the time. Don't get me wrong, I strongly believe in the possibility of ET and that there may have been contact. TV is burning me the fuck out. TV shows have one aim: to sell advertising air. The sensationalization of any given topic burns me out because it's a lot more work than it's worth to keep my BS meter running to the degree it requires.
