Possibly this published research paper isn't true... This and this put the above study in more understandable format. I ran across it here, in the bike forums, which I've been active in lately. Edit: Part of the problem in a nutshell!
I've always thought, when I hear the phrase "shouldn't have to" in a sentence, it tells me the corollary "it has to" is true.
