The wheel performed perfectly
in Redline Racer, NFS III, MTM2, Andretti Racing,
Test Drive 4, Road Rash, Grand Theft Auto, and all
three Sega racing games. I was very impressed by the
wheel in those games.
However, Motoracer froze any
time I tried to configure the wheel. I traced the
caused right back to the wheel itself. Nascar II refused
to respond to the wheel. Lately I have been having
problems with certain DOS games, so that is understandable.
I hear this wheel works great with it so I cannot
deduct points for my bad experience. Carmageddon had
the same problem. Again, I believe that is due to
DOS problems, not the wheel itself.
Comments
This wheel is ideal for racing
fanatics, but may seem boring to those who do not
care for race sims. I was never a huge racing fan,
but this wheel brought out the racer inside of me.
Believe me, it was hard to pull myself away from the
wheel to begin this review. Whether you like racing
games or not, you should give this wheel a chance.
