Altec Lansing hits again with an excellent set of speakers, at a very good value.
Installation
The subwoofer is HUGE. It's about the size of my case (actual measurements are 12" deep, 14" wide, 8" high). I put it on the floor underneath the table. A power cord goes from the subwoofer to the wall (the DC converter is inside the subwoofer, so there's no "wall warts" to deal with).
A big fat cable goes from the right speaker to the subwoofer, and a thin wire goes from the left speaker to the right speaker. The subwoofer has two inputs, so you can have two devices sending their output over without needing to go through the line in on your soundcard.
