I just found out about this today (wish I had found out about it before I bought 2 games), but there is a soft-modding option available for the Wii that allows playing of backed up games. Figure this might be useful for atleast a few people on here - heck, maybe everyone knows about it, but never hurts to spread the word.

I just modded my wii and its pretty freaking cool. There is a lot of reading to do and I was confused majority of the time, but just following someone else's tutorial worked. The "Bannerbomb" hack is by far the easiest with 4.0. Then its all applications that are not it 1 spot from there.

I use GX USB loader. I have a 500GB Passport "white to match" hooked up to the Wii.
So far 136 games working so far.:)
