Now here is a little something that i would like to just post on why I am not voting for Obama:

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away men's initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

    " Abraham Lincoln

It's funny that Aberaham Lincoln actually did not say those words.

People really need to look into those email forwards they get. It doesn't really matter, its going to be a blow out for Obama.

Pst, use your secret mod powers to see the votes. ;)

    Ahaha, amazing.

Hey, look two for one misinformed McCain voters!

And now my own "who did you vote for" anecdote from work:

So I posed this question to some coworkers this morning and got a large McCain response, but we are one of the wealthiest counties in the country so what are you gonna do? But one of the responses stood out.

Her: "Why would I vote for Obama? He's the anti-Christ!"

I gave her the "are you fucking shitting me?" look.

Her: "No, really he is! Read revelations it talks about a great orator coming."

So, this is the same retarded coworker who I mentioned in my new job thread but I really couldn't bite my tongue on this comment.

Me: "Well, I think that's retarded but if it's true, I for one welcome the coming Rapture."

She looked as though I had just shat in the communion plate.

Her: "That's horrible! Why would you say that?!?!?!"

Me: "Well, Rapture means that the fundamentalist Christians will finally be out of my hair."

I have never seen someone turn so red and get so angry that quickly.

Don't all fundamentalist Christians want the rapture to come? Isn't that what they pray for? Stupid people, if you ask me...

Sadly, these are the majority of people who vote for McCain...

Well, just cast my ballot for Obama about an hour ago.

Something that gives me hope, but taken with a grain of salt: I work at Starbucks (I know, I know, but hey, cheap health care). Today, as some of you may know, we are giving out free coffee if you have the "I Voted" sticker. So everybody and their mother came today, especially since our store is in the heart of the city. I've never seen our store that busy. I'm talking lines to the door almost non-stop, and I worked 8am-4:30pm. I would say, for every 1 McCain sticker/shirt I saw, there must of have been 3 or 4 Obama stickers/shirts. We get all kinds of people: college students, professors, blue collar, white collar, old people. It just seems like I saw far more Obama supporters than McCain. I've got my fingers crossed.

Obama, fuck conservatives in the ass! Honestly in my state, WA, it doesn't matter as long as you vote Democrat lol

    --
Other then from some people in these forums, I have yet to hear ANYTHING from McCain supporters other then religious nonsense, racism, anger, and complete ignorance. The few people who have actually talked to me about McCain supported his earlier policies and not his current.

I reallllly hope Obama wins. :D

Wait a minute, are you absolutely serious when you say that Obama isn't a socialist? Have you ever read a fucking book on economics? If you want I have an unopened economics textbook you should read. Anytime you take from one person and give to another, that is an aspect of socialism.
There is an old joke about the 4 'isms.
    If you have two cows:
Socialism, the government takes one of your cows and gives to your neighbor.
Communism, the government takes both of your cows and gives you milk.
Fascism, the government takes both of your cows and sell you milk.
Capitalism, you sell one cow and buy a bull.

This is America, you get what you earn. If these lazy fucks won't work they deserve the poverty they live in. People make poor choices and should have to pay the consequences. I have never got any free government handouts, why should they?

I have nothing to say or argue with you. I find your signature incredibly ignorant and offensive and nothing I will ever say or debate you on will ever get you out of that mentality.

"Osama for Obama" - Give me a fucking break. I'm guessing you're one of those country-hickoid pro-wrestling NASCAR types we see on all these "McCain Supporter Racism" videos. Seriously, I have absolutely nothing more to say to you.

I'm all for an educated, respectful debate but I will not put up with hateful messages.

EDIT: That goes for Democrat and Republican. Get the fact straight, debate the issues respectfully, but I will not answer to or explain myself to ignorance and hate.

Only an OBAMA supporter would be so critical of someone else's beliefs. Why ya so angry, Chris?
