What kinda systems do you people play WoW on

    ok i'm trying to play on this:

    Laptop
    1.6ghz Pentium M
    512 mb RAM
    128 mb ATI Mobility x300

    I was getting some major lag in Stormwind,

    You need more RAM and a faster hdd. My system is: 9700 64mb, 3500+, 1gb RAM, 80gb SATA.

    I could swap out the video card for a GF3 and WoW would still run good becuase its performance depends on fast disk access and a lot of memory.

    Ya after my guest pass is up I probably won't play anymore. I really want to...it's a great game, but I don't want to have upgrade and my laptop is the only choice I have.

    upgrading the ram would be most benificial, it's not a very expensive upgrade either.

    you definitely don't need to upgrade to play WoW, i had a shittier system and ran WoW fine as long as i put all the settings down to their lowest.

    Exactly how much shittier are we talking? It would be nice to know if my computer will run it before I buy the game and what not.
