just bought a new bed frame at ikea after my friend's fat girlfriend broke my current bed frame. i get to spend the night putting the new one together and cleaning my room since i've been living in my brother's old room all week.

Is it just me or is Ikea a pain in the ass to assemble?

It totally depends on the product. Some are pretty easy, others seem nearly impossible....

    Edit: totally unrelated, but amusing:

ugh this bed is considered one of the "pain in the ass" ones from ikea. it took me 2.5 hours to assemble a twin bed frame because the bolts refused to go into the metal pieces that have to be lined up exactly right in order for them to work. absolute pain in the ass.

i wouldn't have had to deal with it either had she not broke it. she didn't even offer to buy me a new one which just pisses me off. i'm going to ask her to give me the money for it.

spent 8 hours this morning running around with a couple of paramedics teaching people at a heart walk CPR/CCR, sold my Rockfest ticket to someone because i was too tired to go and instead worked at my grandmothers house and watched the redwings/pens game

Jack Johnson? Seems like a compliment to me. He's a good looking guy and good relaxing music too.

haha yeah.. I've actually half-way met Jack Johnson at Bonnaroo. He flew in a day early to see the 2am Mars Volta show and I got to shake his hand and say "hey, how's it goin?" to him. So, he likes good music if that counts for anything.

Today's my 25th birthday and I was up at 5am for work :(

I might pick up Infamous for PS3 today. I hear it's a good game and the videos I've seen look promising. I'm also taking an alternate route from work today since according to my math, I'll be spending about $50/month on tolls alone.
