It really depends on the group. AA was started by a highly religious group to begin with, so in the AA 12 steps, god is mentioned a few times. Some groups are highly religious, at the meeting I was at yesterday only a few people even mentioned god, and one of the AA groups another class member went to was actually an atheist AA meeting. It's all about finding a group out there that works for you, and there are plenty out there. Looking on the Seattle area AA site, there are probably 100 different meetings every day of the week.

And there are many other programs besides AA.

Well that's good. I had only seen the generic 12 step list and they all mention God, so I just assumed that's how AA rolled. Hopefully I'll never have to worry about finding an Atheist meeting group.

I'm feeling woozy as hell right now.

I was just working out, and all of a sudden I started feeling dizzy and kind of sick feeling. Stopped right away, but I'm still shaking. It's not dehydration, I felt fine when I started, it wasn't a different workout than usual.... huh.

Do you think it's exhaustion? It happens to me also most times at the end of a long week of working out or doing alot of cardio.

Nope, not exhaustion either. Had plenty of sleep last night and didn't have any other exercise today...

    Eh, whatever.

I have been staying up fairly late, but I actually didn't have much physical activity this week. No work Monday because it was a holiday, Wednesday was an easy day and I didn't climb, then I didn't go to work today since I had to meet with my professor. And I mean, It's not like I've never worked out tired before...

I tackled a large percentage of orghanizing the shop yesterday and have plans for the same today. What a mess, but it's worth it to be able to know what and where everything is. I found some neat stuff and threw away quite a bit.

Going to look at some newly built loft apartments in some old factory building from the 1800s that look over the James River for a possible place to live August/September.

After that, I'm gonna go to Macy's and buy a bunch of work clothes since they're having a sale. Wooo

Dude, you get used to it. i've not obtained more than 6 hours sleep in 5 years. Most nights it's 4-5 hours. I do tend to get more done though.
I finished the metals&fab, electical, electronics and plumbing sections of the shop today and went to work repairing a few things.

Now to frame in another window in the woodshop and the upper level, then vent that upper level because it's hotter'n the hubs of hell up there.
The amount of stuff to go through upstairs is staggering.

I wish I could get away with not sleeping so much. on my days off I get between 8-12 hours of sleep. Usually averaging about 9 or 10.

On work days though its about 6 or 7. I think I need to invest in one of those alarms that makes you get up to turn it off. The snooze button is my enemy
