Potato chip piracy! This year's Do Us A Flavor contest is under way, and one of the flavors is Greek Gyros. I think I submitted that back in the first one in 2012. Haxorz!! I may've posted about it here at the time, but those posts are probably long gone.

Anyhoo, the flavors this year look promising: Greek Gyros, New York Reubens, and Truffle Fries.

I coulda had my name splashed across millions of bags of chips and won one MILLION dollarzzzz.

    I coulda BEEN SOMEBODY, gawddamnit!!!

They taste more like reubens than the gyros ones taste like gyros, probably because of the distinctness of the sauerkraut. The truffles ones are good, but very subtle.

I think maybe they did a fourth this year, some sort of biscuits and gravy(?)

The gyro chips taste nothing like gyros IMO.

Never had a gyro. Living in SoCAL and with the popularity of "Greek Souvlaki" you would have thunk i'd have tried it by now. nope. :)

Gyro is one of my faves of all time but I can't get one where I live. Reubens are yummy, too, but not as special to me. In fact, I couldn't even buy the gyro chips here, a friend had a bag and I only had a couple small handfuls.

I'd unfriend that dude! Only a couple small handfuls?! That's inhumane!

It was a smaller convenience store bag, I didn't want to down the whole thing! (Well, I sorta did, but you know) (and a female, just for the record not that it matters)

Damn, there was another one I didn't mention and never saw, Southern Biscuits & Gravy, that won.

I ended up liking the Truffle Fries flavor the best. I'm eating out of what is probably my last bag, along with some locally-made smoked swiss Brauts.

The winner was some cutie from Wisconsin. She gets either one MILLION dollars or 1% of its sales for a year, whichever is moar.

Swiss Brauts, or any Brauts, are an addiction unto themselves.

Pringles now has a cheeseburger flavored chip that tastes remarkably like cheeseburgers.
