OK, maybe not funny but at least amusing to me...

I don't think this made national news, but here in Cincinnati a couple of old ladies went missing last April. They got in the car to go shopping, didn't tell anyone where they were going, got lost, and hadn't been seen since. Well this past weekend they finally found their car and remains. The dumb bitches got lost, stuck in the mud, and literally sat in their car and died. Can you say "driving testing for seniors"?

Well, it's certainly more tragic than funny. I've got a bit of a chip on my shoulder about old people driving, so I guess it's just me. :snakeman:

Where were Ada's survival instincts? She should've gone to town on the fleshy, fat remains of Mary. I know if I was stuck in a car, slowly starving to death, I would eat my fat friend.

If the mud was viscous enough to mire their car, they probably couldn't get out without sinking waist deep into the mud themselves. speaking as one who has been stuck waist deep in mud myself, once you're stuck, your stuck, till some friends pull you out with a huge sighing sucking sound.

On the other hand two old people could get stuck in a 4" rut if they tried hard enough and it was wet.

The really sad / funny thing is that they were close enough to the highway they were looking for to hear the cars going by...

Old people behind the wheel are bad. Yesterday in a town a few miles from here an elderly woman plowed into the entrance of the HOSPITAL, killing a cancer specialist and injuring 8 nurses and bystanders.

Being that close to the motorway, don't count for much, most would look at them and just drive right on by.
