1. Starcraft 2. CS 1.3 - 1.5 3. Diablo II (before patch 1.10) 4. BF 1942 /w Desert Combat 5. Knights of the old republic
No particular order (And I am picking 6, so deal with it): Tribes WoW (I am not afraid to admit it) BF1942 (actually, most of the BF PC games, and Heroes is shaping up nicely if you have gotten to partake in the beta) Powerstone 2 (Dreamcast, bitches) UO (This is on the list shearly for the number of years of my life I wasted playing it) Super Smash Bros (Take your pick, I have spent allot of time getting my ass kicked in each version) Game I see most often that I always thought was overrated: Goldeneye; Sure it came out a year ealier, but how the fuck did this piece of shit compete with Tribes for so long? Console vs. PC I know, but damn get a grip guys
1. Red Alert/Aftermath (First PC video game I ever played) 2. Mario Brothers NES 3. Legend of Zelda NES 4. Space Invaders Atari 5. Counter Strike
Super Mario 3 (NES) Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) Best Zelda, hands down Super Metroid (SNES) Best Side Scrolling Action Game ever Starcraft (PC) Played this on and off for over a decade Warcraft III (PC) This cost me a relationship in college, seriously. After reading fiddy's list, I make the following revisions: Mario's out, Wolf 3d is in. God that game rocked so hard in the early nineties. Robohitler. Seriously.
Man I love twisted metal 2!! I have it on my psp and I still play it every once in a while, it's a fun one player game but even a funner two player game!
1) - Resident evil 2/4 - Leon is just too fucking badass. 2) - Contra/Super Contra/Contra 4 - so hard but soooo goddamn fun 3) - Final Fantasy IV/VI - great stories 4) - Gears of War - The reason I got a 360, and a damn good one =] even though the story isn't the greatest it's still a hell of a game in co-op 5) - Super Mario Bros. (nes) - perfect.
In chronolgical order (I think) - Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Master System) - In all my life the only game that me and my dad played together. I was only 10 I think. Donkey Kong Country 3 (SNES) - I remember getting this for christmas and spending every second of my free time trying to bust it wide open. This was before I had the internet and I didn't have a guidebook so I spent a long time on it! Goldeneye (N64) - Needs no reason. Perfection in cartridge form. Silent Hill (PS1) - The first game in a series that I am now obsessed with. I can now probably finish it with my eyes shut because I've played it so much! Only game to really scare the bejeeebus out of me, too. Quake III Arena (Dreamcast) - The first game I ever played online, and the only one I was ever good at lol 5 is seriously not enough! I need at least 10
Gears 2 will actually be playable, since they've fixed the host advantage garbage. I'm really looking forward to it.
1) Dragon Warrior 1-4 2) Final Fantasy I, VI, and VII (CT, but FF will always be more memorable for me) 3) Half-Life / CS 4) World of Warcraft 5) Legend of Zelda / Adventures of Link, on NES (Mario 2, 3 were great as well... there were so many good games on NES and SNES) *) Kaboom on Atari 2600
Tribes was great, but AFAIK it came out over 2 years after Goldeneye on the N64, which may explain that. Good list btw.
omg I remember getting that game for my birthday! The game was impossible to play to the end but it was fun anyway
1 - Half-Life - First PC game I purchased for myself. 2 - Goldeneye 64 - My friends and I used to play this for HOURS. I was Invincible! 3 - Wave Race 64 - Listening to the Tragic Kingdom album by No Doubt while playing this game brings back some of the most vivid and awesome memories 4 - Doom - Played this on a friend's computer way back in the day. I've been hooked on FPS's ever since. 5 - Red Alert 2 - First RTS game I ever purchased and it was awesome. Used to connect to friends computers and have fun. I always got my ass kicked but it was a blast.
