Is there any interest in this? I've recently gotten really into TF2 and know there's a few of you from here who play pretty regularly and was thinking that a T3D server could be fun.

So any interest for this sort of thing? Of course the admins would be regulars on here and T3D posters would get a reserved slot.

jamsan used to have a l4d server...but he's disappeared off of the world of steam.

honestly I got hella tired of tf2. just repetitive, really. And then the scout update made me say eff it.

but I supose if you guys are playing, I may join.

i felt this way about l4d...after we had cleared everything on expert multiple times there was really only vs left, and that got old quick with only one map to play on.

    tf2 still keeps me entertained.

Scouts got a flurry of awesomeness: Force of Nature (shotgun), Bonk energy drink (temp invulnerability), and Sandman (bat with hittable ball that stuns target). Plus like four new maps.

Fuck. I may have to get back into TF2 now. But that scout shit sounds a bit silly.

I'll install it when I get home, if I can remember.

Alright so it seems as though there's a fair amount of interest. I checked pricing on a couple sites and they were in the range of around 25 a month(about 280 a yr with a discount) for a 16 slot server. As muchas I'd love to pay for it all I am still a college student and money isn't flowing in the door. I'm thinking a donation run with x amount getting you an admin slot and or reserved slot.

    Thoughts?

    QUAKE LIVE

It's out and available to download. Runs free right off your browser. I like it.

I'm updating Steam right now. I may start playing again. Steam ID is Coleman4i.

i think i'm friends with all of you besides smirnoff.

my nickname is Littletravi, steam id is travisty08.

and i fully support the idea of a t3d server and could probably swing a donation of 10-15$. every experience i've had with t3d games on steam has been a positive one.

Meh. I was about to join Quake Live when I read the dreaded phrase "Punkbuster". Since they started using that stupid service that automatically loads at startup, and slows down all my file activity, I don't touch games that require it.
