I'm hoping they do what Google did with Android. An open source OS that multiple companies can manufacture products around. Imagine gaming PCs at the console price point sold by multiple competitors. My hope is that without all the OS bloat of Windows you could get better game performance for less money, and with Steam being so secure, it might actually get a lot of developers to start making PC games again.
