Hey guys, little help again I've recently seen that someone has gone through the trouble of emulating PS1 games on PSP. As soon as I saw FFVII and Silent Hill I was just obsessed about getting a PSP. Problem is, apparantly I need a certain firmware and homebrew and all this shit to get it working. It'd be nice if I got the browser working too and the old Mega Drive and SNES emulaters. Also wouldn't mind it being possible to play the releases I see on TorrentLeech *ahem*. So basically I need someone to hold my hand while I purchase a PSP (either new or from eBay if need be) and then to guide me through what software and accessories I need to get hold of to get everything working. heres what you need 1.a psp running 1.5 or any new one depending on firmware youll have to use diffrent downgrade 2.71 ta-82 systems PSP Downloads | Easy TA-082 2.71 Downgrader 2.5/2.6 systems PSP Downloads | Firmware 2.5+2.60 to 1.5 Downgrader be sure check firmware on side of box when buying it lower the better now you need a flash tool allows you to go from 1.50 firmware witch allows homebrew to 3.2 firmware witcch allows psx emulation do this flash first if have 1.50 its 3.02-oa PSP Downloads | 3.02 OE-A Installer (for 1.50 users) then the new 3.02 oe-b PSP Downloads | 3.02 OE-B then you need to hook your psp to computer with usb cable and go on playstation store get hot shot golf 2 . you need it for key files "dont worry only need to buy it once and its cheap" need to loader program i use this one PSP Downloads | danny_kay1710's POPSTATION GUI all it does take your iso or image of psx game and puts in correct folders its just 2 cliks and your image it ready to play.

well i ran ff7 fine. its not tuff as other emulation they had this plan at launch. firmware update give ablitiy to run psx games i dont know if all will work i tryed 5 so far. yeah you do need to buy 1 psx game of pc or ps3 to download to psp.

once you get one let me know firmware number. its diffrent steps for diffrent firmware. ill post your links then because i dont thing youll fing 1.5 fw for cheap. if you get 1.5 fw you can skip w to 3 steps. now you can undate to newest fw and do everything legal like buy psx image of playstation store. but thats for loser!
Is there still an easy way to play all the emulators if I update my firmware from 1.5? I haven't turned on my PSP in like a year and I'd like to give this a try.
When I try to do the OE-A to OE-B update it says "the game could not be started (8002014)8)" What am I doing wrong? I have the following folder structure: 302 OE Readme iso psp\game\OEB_UPDATE\EBOOT.PBP psp\game271 psp\music psp\photo psp\savedata psp\SYSTEM\BROWSER
when go to system info what does it says? and flash from 1.5 right? i have re- encoded about 15 psx games so far i'm doing Castlevania: Symphony of the Night right now. i rebackup with psp eboot so quick drag and drop
then you deleted all 3.02 oe-a in psp folder then you need 75% batterie then copy upade to /PSP/GAME150 if dont have folder called GAME150\ make one.

Wow im outa the loop. The last time I messed around with my PSP was when someone figured out how to run Doom on it. Then I stuck it in a drawer. I am pretty sure it is still 1.5, gonna have to fuck around with it after work tonight.
