Rock band is indeed awesome. The drums are beyond fucking hard. And more of you should be excited at MGS4. It's really slick.
Starcraft 2, Fallout 3. If either of the games are a quarter of what their source material was, they'll be beyond words. Easily two of the top five franchises ever made.
Looks pretty basic to me. If you can keep a beat on a regular drumkit, it should be easy as pie. The way they make the bassdrum notes appear on the screen could screw you up though.
Hellgate London has me so addicted already and only the demo is out. I have played both classes available through all the dungeons in the demo about three times to get to level 5 and unlock the second level skills. The game feels so smooth and complete in both first person and third person modes. I hope the difficulty gets a little harder though, the only time I had to use a health pot was fighting a boss when I got stuck in a corner and couldnt kite him.
Yea, I circle strafed like a mofo and killed everything. And when one of them catch you up, you just run away with the boost. But man, it's a demo. Of course it will get harder. Remember the first level of Diablo 2? How the zombies fell so fast?
Yup I do. I remember thinking the exact same thing about D2 and then when the game came out I skipped almost every class for like two weeks. I should let my boss know I will probably be sick half of next week. Just like D2 I was hooked when my first blue dropped as well.
I'm interested in Hellgate: London. I wonder if it'll play on Linux, because I'm willing to try the demo out. We need a "killer" game this year or next. Something that rattles up the whole gaming community. Something 150 out of 200 active T3D members can all play together.
I'm real tempted tp preorder the Painkiller: Overdose, but may wait awhile. I havent even had time to play Episode2 yet1 screwin around with that damn gnome is eating up my playtime real bad. Then there's Portal and I haven't even opened a copy of Gun yet, just found it while cleaning out a case of CD's.
I am excited for super Mario galaxy (comes out next month) and Mario Kart Wii (comes out early next year). I don't own a Wii but i am sure the people I know that own the Wii will be getting those games.
I'm seriously thinking of getting the wife a Wii for xmas. We'll have our bigscreneLCD by then and all will be right with the world. She loves the casual type games and the Wii excells at those.
Yay, I just got off the phone with the dude that works at EBX. Manhunt 2 shipment came in today and I can pick it up tonight instead of tomorrow! w00t!
