I have a new server that has two ethernet ports. I have two switches in house, and I have a router. 1 switch is connected to the outside world. It is NOT connected to my router. The other switch is connected to my router.

The server is connected to the internal switch and the external switch. I have one of the internet properties setup to find the IP address setting automatically, and the other is setup to use a static public IP address using a different gateway, and dns server.

Now, when I do an ipconfig, everything looks good. But, I cannot ping the static ip address from outside of my network. Also, when I am on the server, and I do a whatismyip.com, it tells me my router's IP Address. Is there any way to get it so that the static public ip is the "main" connect? Something of that sort. This was working the other day, and now it is not working correctly even though all setting look correct.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
