Halo 3's plot sucked major balls. It defines the term "Deus ex Machina".

Halo 3's multiplayer is much, much better than Halo 2's. It seems slowed down from Halo 2.

ive been feenin for another space fps game to take me away from this world.
i remember the effect halo 1 and 2 had on me, it furthered my curiosity of the universe. Cant wait for mass effect.

halo 3, you gotta appreciate the details theyve added in the environments and the surrounding visuals of worlds away. The mini combats in the sky is soo awesome. I just sit on a ledge at times and watch em fight and blow each other up. Little things like that really get me excited. The clouds, just sit and pay attention, they separate and move like real clouds.. background weather and objects light and animate, amazing.

the one thing im pissed about is theres a height limit on where you can go.
me, im one of those people that spend more time walking around and exploring. Having that height limit keeps me from trying to climb high atop of things.. that kinda pissed me off. Halo 2, i think, that video of the guy that went into space.. man! wish we could do that in halo 3.

My roommate picked up this game on release day. I tried it last night and now I remember why I hated halo 1 and 2 so much, everything is too linear, you will see 10 doors exactly the same but only one opens. I played it for about an hour then got bored and had to turn it off. Ill try the online play tonight but I am done with the story mode game.

My little bro was out on a business trip this past week and my parent's picked up his copy of Halo 3.

When he got back last night, he went to go play it and his XBox bricked! LOL And his is one of the very original XBox 360's ever sold. Told him he was a very lucky individual (up until now).

Finished campaign on legendary last night. I'm still going to replay it and find the hidden skulls though. Fun game so far.. the theatre mode is awesome.

Dude, whatever you do, leave the black eye skull OFF (your shields only regenerate after you melee someone).

You can act like you're tough and try and do it, but there are some parts that are nearly impossible on NORMAL with all skulls on, let alone legendary.

Trust me. Legendary has nothing on all the skulls.

Is it just me or does the graphics quality drop off sharply in the online multiplayer?

They purposely have the graphics toned down. Its part a style thing, part speed. They do it to keep a certain clean look that makes things easier to see as well it aids in keeping the gfx faster so there is less chance for slow down with lots of players on the screen.

THe only thing that bothered me graphically were the human faces. I mean, Jesus, those were horrible.

It's not groundbreaking or anything. But it's the good old formula upped to version 3. The MP is really fun any way you slice it.

I thought it's basically the same thing as Halo 2 with new weapons and a few new maps?

I know the graphics engine is just the proprietary Halo engine with a facelift.

EDIT: Nevermind, Forge is really cool.
