Thanks doods! Yeah, it was a group interview for specialist positions. There were over 450 applicants for the New Haven and Danbury openings, but they filtered that down to two groups of twenty for today's two group interview sessions. It was wild and extremely comprehensive, but I feel like I did pretty well. Two solid hours of questions and whatnot, but at least the three ladies in charge of hiring today were smokin' hot, even the pregnant one. 8) I'll hear back in two weeks as they run background checks and make their decisions. Even if I don't get hired, I have other opportunities I'm waiting to hear back on, and of course I can sit comfortably knowing that, statistically, it's more difficult to become an Apple employee than to get into Harvard. Weird stat, but they mentioned it during today's presentation. Torx and a lady friend!!! Y'all are both so pretty! Haha! She doesn't look very thick though. I'm proud that you were mature enough to get past that! We look way better than the neckbeards on RX's forum.
You dont need a college degree to work at the apple store, i got an invite for one of those and turned them down
Yeah yeah, lol. There were some guys there who were still in college, but they were just looking for part time. It's not my dream job, I'm really looking to get into the publishing industry, but a full time job would get me an apartment with my girlfriend which is my ultimate goal here. I'm also primarily a writer/photographer, so I'd be doing freelance work too.
I like to give people shit about it, but Apple treats employees pretty well. It'd be a good job out of college while you're looking for real work. I'm pretty sure they pay like 17/hour around here.
Hot day-ammm! looking as sweet as always Blaze! If ladyblaze and Lurker can post up a pic, the least I can do is grace the forums with a pic demonstrating how age is not being a friend to me. (I swore I'd not post another but what the heck.......................here's beauty and the beast
buwhahah - reviving the thread - A picture of me and a picture of my 2 sons - who are now 16 and 19...yikes.
Here you go. I guess this could also pass as a pic of me at work too. This is in the dining area on board the ship I'm on now (USS Emory S. Land). We have Wi-Fi here, which seems to be working at the moment. But, I guess it's better than nothing! Gah, I'm starting to show my age now.... Scary! ~Will Courtier~
This is me getting my CD signed by Halestorm. A few people before us they stopped doing group pictures, so I had the girl behind me take a picture.
