Had some friends over last night, but I'm pretty sure I was the one who stepped on my Macbook. Crazy night, good times, not stressed about the screen. It's still very usable, the crack doesn't look like it's getting any larger, and its only a $70 replacement cost. And since it looks like awesome digital Indian feathers, I'll endure until I have the money to spare. :D

at least you had a good time breaking it right, and it looks use able, unlike when you crack your cell phone screen and can't see your texts, contacts, ect...

Okay Sparky, I've gotta say it - who in the fuck puts a laptop on the floor anyway? That's just retarded.

When my wife first got her laptop she'd set it on the floor, on the couch cushions, on the coffee table next to a tall glass of water, etc. All sorts of places that were just begging for it to get broken. I put my foot up her ass so much she actually stopped doing it. I see so many busted ones at work I know precisely what the high risk behaviors are.

One that a lot of people don't think about? The long USB wireless mouse dongles. That shit is a lever essentially, so many cracked system boards from those...

How is that only $70 to replace? A new screen is usually in the hundreds of dollars.

I go to college. I essentially live in one room, I live all over the room. Shit happens.

I'm pretty careful with my macbook, it's my fucking baby!

Hahaha, oh shit. Our parts supplier charges us $175 -500 depending on what 13.3" macbook it is. But then again our parts supplier is super over priced. Can you say $50-100 for laptop keyboards? Yes you can.

That's effing ridiculous. Even Alienware had $20-30 keyboards for the laptops.

Bingo! That's essentially what my wife is using. Me personally I just use the touch pad, I don't pack a mouse at all.
