My XBOX 360 isnt playing games anymore. It wont read the disc. It doesnt even sound like the disc gets spun. Im going to have to send this shit in cause it better be under warranty. MicroOWNED. I guess the extended warrenties are worth it.. You can try though, I know Microsoft is really helpful in these kind of situations... plus if you don't have a functinable 360, then you can't buy games which then reduces Microsofts royalties.
haha nintendo's warranty is 1 year and today i called and told them that my screen had dust inside and that my warranty was already done and they said "don't worry about it, we'll send you a do it yourself screen stallment kit" and i was like "thanks pal" and yea. 90 day warranty for a 400 dollar product? that's bullshit man, complain your ass off over the phone

All consoles have shitty 90 day warranties. If I were you, I would talk to a friend that works at a place that sells them, get him/her to make you a new reciept. We do this once in a while for customer service issues etc for companies that are really stuck up for warranty repair. We make an invoice, photocopy it, and then return it in the computer so the till/inventory balances at the end of the day. The end result is a new current date with a new warranty. I would first ask the manager wherever you bought it from politley if you can exchange the unit. If he says now ask him if he could make you a new reciept, chances are he'll say no but its worth a shot. Worst case scenario take my advice above in the first paragraph.
btw, like the other guy said, always be polite at first. When your polite, MOST of the time the person on the other end WANTS to help you out. If they don't budge, thats when you start to raise your voice, if that don't work, talk to someone above them, etc. If you complain enough you will get what you want, its not worth the companys time or money to deal with you when they can make you happy by getting you what you want, especially when it costs them little/nothing in the long run. btw, microsoft is pretty good for service.
If you still have the box just return it..? If not call MS. Back in the whole "LOLZ DEFECTIVE" days, they were extremely helpful to everyone.. I actually never heard one bad thing about their 360 CS. Keep us posted.
Every console has problems when it comes out. I wouldn't be hating on Sony so much, the PS1 and PS2 has had a WAY better title selection than the xbox and 360.

if its that bad, and you cant do anything else, just to do this: buy the exact same one, change it with the one that is broken, then return it. i would buy from walmart as they usually dont check any of their returns :evil:
