So it snowed like 13 inches here since last night. Good thing I went to my rents house in suburbia otherwise right now I'd be standing in line at the tow lot instead of sitting on my ass drinking coffee, debating if I want to try and drive to work.
it's been nuts here in the seattle area too. not 13 inches but still nuts for here. It doesn't snow that much here, especially this early. i probably have about 4 inches of snow and ice around. have had it all week. and we are supposed to get more this weekend...
we're getting dumped on in toronto right now by two different storms in two different directions, it's pretty wacky. expecting about 15 inches or so
yep seattle is really messed up right now. i walked the 4 miles to work instead of risking going out in the unplowed, icy streets. if i had a 4 wheel drive car it'd be one thing, but i don't dare risk it in my xB
FU i love my xB Seattle has like 2 snow plows for the whole city. We don't usually get snow so getting as much as we did yesterday (4-6 inches) shuts down the hole city. Everything is covered in ice. It's sunny out, but it's still freezing so nothing will melt.
^^ Thats the conditions out here at the moment. When i left for work this morning I was basically just guiding my car down my street as it slid. On the way back I only made it half way back up my street before i lost traction and had to just park it. It was kind of odd, as I was walking up i was walking on a thick layer of ice and could see all the water running underneath it.
The roads up here are cleared now pretty much everywhere; we're expecting another 10cm on Saturday though so I can't wait! I HATE the cold but I love the snow and the havoc it causes
Crazy, everyone is getting snow all over the place but the weather here seems to go from 20F to 55-60F every other day.
You suckers are finally getting what we've had from Saturday through yesterday. Today it's back up to a gorgeous 42 degrees
Got stuck in 18 inches of snow yesterday. Had to dig the truck out (4WD). I was about 3000 ft in the Cleveland National Forest when we reached the 30% grade and lost all traction. Spent a good hour digging up snow and wrestling with the truck. :\
Yeah wait what's going on here? edit: BHA don't take it to heart, I just have a sarcastic sense of humor
NIDEX I never thought anything else you sarcaustic bastard well 'minime' is ruined for life now didn't really want to have the 'penis' talk with an 8 year old
we got about a foot here in SE WI, roads are finally ok this afternoon, looks like another 6" tomorrow!!! i gotta move
The difference between where I live and there is here you can use the snow for fun. You can only whitewash your bother so many times before it looses the fun. I'm probably going snowboarding tomorrow!
7.2" here. We went out to Bestbuy and TGIF for lunch. Helped push a guy's car out of a snow bank on the way back
Seattle is about to go to hell it seems. It's been in the 20s for the last two days, many of the roads are solid ice, and we have a blizzard warning for tomorrow night, with more snow and winds. Should be exciting!
lol wish we had a nice snowstorm, i wanna cuddle up under the blankets to stay warm.. wake up and drink some hot cocoa and watch cars collide.
We did not get squat. Just buttloads of ice cold frigging rain. Was supposed to snow, they said it would dump 3-7 inches, instead the storms stalled over the Salem/Portland to Seattle areas. We only got a fine powdering at nights, then cold rains hit.
the 10 day forecast for seattle has snow every single day....ugh. my plane better get off the damn ground tomorrow. not to mention that the northeast is also getting slammed right now. my parent's house in CT got 8" of snow yesterday/last night and it's still snowing.
