Official secret santa - I've shipped/I've received my gift thread

I'm not actually going to buy something (unless you all change my mind). I have some parts/books left over from school that I believe my person would enjoy. I'm going to include a ton of random parts so they can do what ever they want with them (ambiguous enough?). The value is well over $25 new, and they all work fine.

it was pretty funny, i put the box on the scale and the lady asked why it smelled like dog shit and pez... i snickered.

I just ordered my stuff today and it should be here around the 14th. Then I'll ship it out as soon as possible so I'm hoping it'll be there by the 24th at least. And if it's not there by the 24th, I'll PM Tassia to let the person know that it's on the way. I ain't no deadbeat, that's fo' sho'!

i looked in the interests thread (the one stickied at the top of the off topic forum). besides admonishments about people sending in their addresses and a remark about used panties you didn't post any interests. sorry you didn't like the gift - they're two of the best books i read last year.

Just FYI, can whoever got me forward tassia the expected delivery date and have her relay it to me because I live in an apt. and I don't want the package sitting outside. I can leave a note and have the courier leave it in the storage room next to the apt.

I really don't mean to be a dick here, but this is kinda why I didn't do SS last year and probably won't next year. I get the feeling most of us just look at the interest list and then ship the first fitting thing they see on amazon or think geek...
I mean, yeah. Sure, this is probably a nicer pen than most others I've owned, but theres an astronaut floating through space on the box. Not really what I was thinking originally.

But none the less, thanks Will. It's not like I won't be using it.

I mean, I don't really know what to say. I understand it's December and it automatically makes you a dick if you complain about something Christmas related, but I'm just saying, it's my second 'underwhelming' SS experience (coincidently my last one was Will too). Plus it's hard to buy gifts for essential strangers.

Like I said, I'll use the pen. But it's pretty obvious that I don't have beneficent soul that SS requires if I get all butt hurt about what I end up with.

I really don't mean to be a dick, cause Wills a great dude. It's just been one of those days, and I came home to find my roommate had opened the package and the pen just sitting on the counter. Suffice to say it was a little bit lack luster of a SS on my end

Why she would open a package addressed to Scooby is beyond me.
