Well, in Morrowind I was a Sorcerer and rarely used magic at all. I actually turned into a pretty sweet fighter (most weapons/armor at 100, high STR maxed AGI). You still level things by using them right? I like being able to totally deviate from the class I chose.

i posted my cahracter in the other thread, but ill post it here too, because it is soo badass :)

    high elf male

    magic

    intelligence, willpower

    sign of the lady

    alchemy
    alteration
    blade
    conjuration
    destruction
    illusion
    mysticism

then just hop or run everywhere. sneak around people who are asleep, and use charm spell or scroll when bartering. if you think you may get into heavier melee, replace one of the crappier magics (mysticism? or even alchemy..theres tons of chances to play with it) with an armor specialty.

btw, anyone go vampire hunting under imperial city? im down in the bloodworks I just kind of stumbled across it. is there a quest associated with this?

I was down in the bloodworks for the last thieves guild mission and i managed to kill them all without contracting polymorphic-whatever-the-fuck but then i went to sleep and got bitten so Im a goddamn vampire anyway.

On a lighter note, I completed the thieves guild and you get a pretty sick item when its over. The last mission is tough though, ghosts are the gayest enemies out there.

And oblivion gates take forever to complete, everything is pretty easy to kill except storm astronachs, I cant take them head to head, they just dont get hurt that much, even from my 13 base damage 20 fire damage shortsword i got.

WTF Man, I went to go kill the old man sitting on his chair (have to loosen the fastenings). Well, I walk into the house and he's like "get out! Go away", I leave the house and his male servant runs after me and attempts to kill me. The guards and a citizen bust his ass and I go to kill the guy and it says I failed the bonus because I killed his servant. Sucks...What was the bonus?

When you're in game hit tab. Then hit your life bar at the bottom. That'll bring up your stats.

Yeah well my fricking repair bill is usually around 1500 after an oblivion gate, then arrows, then around 2500 for recharging my damn weapons. I got Astra's Star which is supposedly a reuseable grand soul gem but I havent tried it out yet.

I finished the main storyline this weekend but I still have soooo much more to do. I've barely touched any of the guild stuff although I have done a fair number of side quests.

I had to put this game down, I think I may uninstall it.

I had it for a little over a week and I had played 43 hours.

    Im quitting cold turkey.

Good god, pace yourself. I've only put 17 hours in and that's on and off playing when I have the time. Are you sick of it or it's too addicting?
