Here's a video of the controller at work

Also, they make the point that for the first time, not having the best graphics may be a GOOD thing, as well as the Revolution being considerably cheaper to buy AND develop for, than the Microsony Playbox 363!

Nintendo is really really fucking smart. It seems that with every console they release they put out a new revolutionary feature.

Like N64 they introduced the anologue stick.
The DS introduced the touch pad, wich btw, is INCREDIBLY fucking cool.

i dunno about yall, but I actually do shit while im gaming. like drink or even talk to people. i dont want a controller that has to pointed at all times at the tv to play my games.

if th controller works i ths llbe pissed off all the time when I reach down to grab my drink, and I die because my character drops down some fuckin cliff.

My thoughts exactly. This controller doesn't work with how 90% of people play games. They like to recline back on the couch and relax. And what Torx said is gonna be a problem as well. Your arms will get tired from holding that crap up.

I don't see that that will be such a problem, since not paying attention and your gun's aim going off isn't any different from not paying attention and running off a cliff or into a monster. Not paying attention is just... not paying attention. It just means you get used to a new intuitive control scheme, just like you did with the original controller at one time.

i'm definitely more pumped about the revolution than i am/was about the other two consoles. the controller seems weird, but that vid was pretty sweet, plus i know there will be a regular controller shaped skin that the remote controller can be plugged into. i agree with torx tho, it seems like if a whole game is based on that kinda movement your wrist would get really tired.

The racing thing would be very cool. FPS would be... odd.
