Yeah sorry guys, I used my friends Iphone to capture some video and the bonehead dropped he's phone in a glass of water while at lunch. The 3D is pretty good, I give IMAX and 3D movies a 2 out of 10 for 3D quality . The 3Ds gets a 8 of 10 for me. I was worried because all my eye surgerys thru the years, that the 3D wouldn't work on me to well. and to be fair it was hit and miss on me, but the game was still really fun and played really well. EDIT: Now other things. On SSF4 I first played as Ryu"he's my SSS rank char." I found using the D-pad better for him, but for Zan and the oil guy"can't remember he's name?" I like the A-pad better. Another thing is after I played, he put out the demo unit with pilotwings 3Ds demo on it. I stayed around for about 20mins to see others play. and the people we're really liking the 3D."lots kids and parents we're oh & ah's" So if you have normal eyes, were the optics nervs work together all the time. You'll like the 3D alot more I feel.
If anything, instead of buying a regular DS, I'll just buy that. That way my kids aren't fighting over who can play DS all the time. And that way I have yet another gadget I never play in my house!

Now remember my optic nervs don't work together all the time, so 3D"depth perception" is very hit and miss with me. I'd really like to hear from someone who hasn't had over 7 eye surgerys.

Nah, movie theater 3d sucks big time. It's cheesy, dark, not seamless, the glasses don't fit, and it's distracting. Regular IMAX showings however are awesome; I've only been to the one at the Maritime Aquarium though so I've just seen HUGE animal movies.
Went to Best Buy to try out the 3DS today. I wasn't blown away by the 3d but all they had on demo was pilotwings. The analog nub works great! Better than the sticks on the psp easy.
Maybe the lighting conditions and the fact that I had to crouch down didn't help but the 3d effect on Pilotwings wasn't amazing. To be fair though I have trouble seeing certain 3d sources so maybe that was the problem. The plane I was flying popped out nicely but I wasn't really feeling the depth of the environment.

Picked up SF4 and Ridge Racer from the Toys R Us sale. Now the waiting begins. Will post my friend code when I get my system. BTW for anyone looking for a system the TRU I went to still had plenty. Morons on craigslist are selling the 3DS for like 400 bucks.
Picked up ssf4 and soccer. ssf4 rocks and the kids love it. The soccer...a little too advanced for the kids, but it looks fantastic. I'm really looking forward to see what morr this system has to offer.
