    Indeed.

I'm part way through the 3-day climbing course, and my hands are killing me. Cut up from the rock, and exhausted from holding myself up for the last two days. Taking tomorrow off as a rest day, then the next day I think I'll be lead climbing a multi-pitch route, AT ONE OF THE BEST CLIMBING SPOTS ON EARTH :p

I gotta stop opening this thread. Every time I do I start going over my finances in my head to see if I can afford to go traveling again. Post some climbing pics.

No? But I'll bet he saw a yellow river when he was talking with I.P.Freely.

So would you classify this as a spiritual journey?

Those seastacks make me want to grab my hawaiian sling, air up the tanks and shoot some fish!

Travel is contagious, it's true :p Do eeettt.

"Post some climbing pics", pfft, nooooooooo I won't! Duuuurrrrr!! :p

I actually got a tick on my ball sack somehow....

No, because I'm simply not a spiritual person. That said, there are plenty of times when I just stare out at the world around me with total wonder and amazement, get a stupid grin on my face, and start laughing about how wonderful life is and how fortunate I am. I'm seeing a lot, I'm learning a lot, I'm doing a lot. Some people would certainly view that in a spiritual way, I view it from a rational way :p

    Oh, and new posssssssssssssstttttttttttttttttttttttttttt: http://scottsnextadventure.blogspot.com/2011/01/rock-climbing-on-railay-does-it-get-any.html

Not sure how long you are in Chiang Mai for but I have a buddy who goes there for about 4 months every year. And his wife is from there, go figure. I am meeting them for lunch today and I'll PM you any local gems I can get out of them.

Great pics. I was in Bangkok last week five days. Soi Cowboy was the top end of my adventure. But, it was an adventure none the less.

Thanks Jake, but I just left Chaing Mai this morning. I am now farther north in Pai, which seems like a freaking awesome place. We will be renting motos, and heading out to the caves, waterfalls, and 'mountains' that surround us in the coming days.

And yes I will be coming home Torx, but I might try and stay a little longer if I can ;)

My buddy said to go north to Pai for the waterfalls. Looks like that is unneeded advice.
