this isnt mine, its a clients pc. an old ass compaq 5000 that i just dropped a tbird 1.2ghz, 512MB ram, and my old radeon 9800 pro. LOLOLOL. Its going to be a basic mame/internet machine, so nothing spectacular. Figure i'd surprised him with this space painting since we goof off about pyramids and illuminati shit.

theres about 5-6 layers of paint on there from fucking up 5-6 times..
the 7time, i got lucky and it started crackling on the planet from all the thick paint being painted over, PERFECT. Came out great.
theres a few touchups i gotta do when it dries, but for the most part, this is about as perfect as i can get it. until my next try.

Looks like one of those touristy spray-paint + newspaper art you can see artists do. I still have no fucking clue how they (and/or you) do that shit. It amazes me that an awesome piece of art can be made so quickly and every single one of them is 100% unique.

    Torx! That's nuts! Good stuff!

+1 to Wiskas' suggestion, though it looks more like Half Life's Xen more than "inner space." :)

Now work for Falcon Northwest and charge 2-3 grand on top of the computer cost for "custom paintjob". facepalm.

    Nice work!

thx everyone, heres the final pc pic. old ass win98me computer upgraded to 512MB pc133, athlon 1.2ghz, radeon9800pro, winxp with seven theme
whiskas, lol, i was thinking xen from half life as well. i loved that ending level.
its basically a mame/emu machine connected to a tv, so it should be fine until the puny 120w psu blows, LOL
i would love to do these paintings as a side hobby, but spray paint is so fucking expensive nowadays.. 6bucks a can? wtf, not to mention you get ID carded if you buy the more colorful cans.

You should get an intro airbrush setup. Lots of fun and pretty cheap.

When I was in HS my friend painted his walls flat black in his bedroom. We'd get stoned and every wall was a canvas...

We started making our own stencils and got pretty good at it just messing around.

haha, sounds like fun! yea, ive wanted to dabble in airbrushing, but ive never been good with applying color. ive always been good at black and white drawing, but not color.
i should try it out, but i doubt i stick with it.

It's actually great fun. Easier to do than explain. One of those things...

I think you'd do quite well actually.
