Nothing better than a workout on the arms or chest and the next day really feeling it. Makes me think i actually did something productive for myself.

    *aaahhh stretch, that feels good*

    you know what i mean??
especially after a good leg workout, where you can barely fucking walk but youre like FFFUUUUCCKK YEAAA TESTOSTERONE BABY, FEELS GOOD TO BE A MAN!! RRRARRRGGGG!!!

Started january off right by working out, getting back into the groove of things.. months off have pretty much made my muscles deteriorate and disappear. Friend of mine gave me some packets of EAS myoplex to try out. Tastes like shit, should hold me over until i get some new suppplements. Cant argue with 42g of protein. Stacking that with my left over Optimum whey protein, and ive already gained 5lbs in the past two weeks. Eating like a motherfucker now that i got some monies to spare.

Think imma go back to muscletech's nitrotech hardcore. that gave me good results pretty fast. Some fish oil and another tub of optimum, it tastes great!

Tried a few iphone workout apps and just found them to be clumsy and not very easy to use especially when im trying to keep my workouts to 40min-50min. Its a distraction anyways.

    TALK ABOUT IT.

Sounds like you're trying to get ripped. I don't experience much muscle soreness because I honestly don't do a lot of strength training. I've phased out a lot of my Insanity and P90x workouts. For me, it's a few miles on the treadmills, a few sets of pushups and crunches. Every now and then I'll throw in a video. Not looking to get big, just want to stay lean.

ya I love that feeling. makes me feel like I'm really doing something. I still do a variation of P90x at the gym. i'm on my recovery week right now where I don't do any strength training. just cardio and core work. after a week of no strength training, then you come back to it, you feel really sore the next week. plus p90x changes your workout every month anyways.

i just can't get big at all. i have tons of protein but i know i just don't eat enough. the thing that sucks about me is that i lost my 100+ pounds too fast so now i have all that loose skin. makes me seem like i have a gut but i really don't at all. depressing. i'm doing a little better at eating more. getting to about 2500 calories but that still isn't enough probably since i'm tall and workout p90x style every day. it's sort of a double edged sword as I don't want to eat too much and gain fat.

i'm about 6'6" and been at around 190-195 for a while. I just can't seem to budge from that number. I'm probably going to look into completely moving away from p90x for at least a little while to change it up a bit to see if I can get different results.

I'm down to two 1 hour sessions a week. Half on the elliptical, half on the stationary bike. No weight training at all at this point.

But yeah, that sore feeling after a good workout is oddly enjoyable.

Foot injuries suck ass when you're training for another marathon :(. Looks like Napa will be postponed until next year.

Hopefully I'll be ok by Eugene Marathon in May.

I've lost 3.4lbs in the last 12 days, I know what you mean.

I workout daily. One set of muscle gain and one set of cardio/Leg strengthening Tu-Th-Fri. M-W is only strength training (school at night). Sunday is cardio only. I also keep a log of my exercises.

The only supplements I take are a whey protein & fish oil M-F.

Notice the Whey also is a multi-vitamin.

    I eat about <2000 kcals a day.

This is where I keep track of my progress http://getthin-ryan.blogspot.com/

Hahahaha I just pictured this 90's fitness dude on TV totally pumped and totally juiced. I can't remember what his name is. Just tried looking for him on googs but I no such luck.
Anyways, you threw a lot of brand names in there ehhhh? Sounds like an infomercial :p

But yeh I have to completely agree with you, it's the best feeling ever when you work out and that sense of accomplishment and productivity would give me a perma smile :D
I should start workin out again.....I probably wouldn't be so downered all the time...
    THANKS MAN!

I don't know what it is, but I just don't seem to have a lot of energy recently. I'm fine for work, which is exercise all day really, but I just haven't been able to do much else. I'm lucky if I can run/lift 1-2 times a week on top of work right now.

I'm kind of burned out right now, and just don't feel that good. :(

I'm kind of addicted to sore arms. My husband and I started working out/eating healthy in September and he's lost 45 pounds, I've lose 30+. I didn't expect to like weight lifting as much as I do. I'd done it in the past but this time I really focused on actually gaining muscle and man, I love the feeling in my arms after really pushing them, and the feel of ACTUAL MUSCLE in my bicep and triceps.
