Anyone else into flightsims? They've really faxorred MS Flight Simulator, one of the oldest franchises in gaming. Instead of selling you an entire world to fly in with a couple dozen airplanes, with the option to get free or payware 3rd-party add-ons of aircraft, scenery, textures, and whatnot, this time they're giving just the big island of Hawaii as free DLC with two planes. Everthing else will be piecemeal payware DLC. E.g., the rest of the Hawaiian Isles will cost $20. (I hate to think what North America will run)

This sums up my feelings fairly well.

When you say "What a friggln' joke" do you mean the download size, or the quality of the F2P game? If it's the former, that 1.4 GB actually seems kind of small.

They have a free to play Microsoft Flight on Steam at the moment, something about flying a boeing around Hawaii or something with some optional paid DLC I think
