Effing amazing... I remember the day that COD4 came out, I bought it for 360. I was feeling like shit that day, so my brother played the whole single player in one sitting. Started around 12ish, finished around 8pm or so. Just watching him play the single player was awesome. Later on, I tackled single player. Can't wait for this...don't get me started on multiplayer. Very addicting. I hope they make nice additions to the ranking system.
Im excited for this game but... wtf? No gameplay in the whole video? Besides maybe the 2 seconds on the snowmobile.
There was a shot in some sort of plane graveyard where you can see "Checkpoint reached" on the top left. Everything appears to be in-game graphics as well. So you have a good idea of how the game looks now.
What annoyances? Infinity Ward is the master of scripted shooters. They make Valve look like amateurs. Also, hope the fixed Martyrdom from CoD:WaW is on this one.
What's fixed martydom? Maybe if they put a delay on it where you're forced to pull out the grenade and pull the pin instead of just dropping one the second you die.
I was talking PS3 specific. Not being able to pick your own host, see the hosts connection quality/ping, stuff that is standard in most al online PC games. When you quit a game/host only to rejoin it again, and again, and again (because the forementioned is not an option). Not having an auto-kick for TK'ers. Yeah, that would be some good stuff to fix...
Yeah lots of problems with the PS3 version, would be great to have an actually T3D host, rather than having to invite and also when that person accepts the invite it still fails.
Yeah, but very, very few console games show ping or let you choose host. XBL is especially into the matchmaking garbage. Halo 3 would, for example, be a much, much better game with a custom maps list. Oh well, that's the price you pay for convenience and not having to upg every year or two. Also, TKers get autobooted after three or so TKs, fyi.
Are you sure? I dunno about that. I've had TK'rs join and use a RPG to kill everyone on the team at spawn (8 or so) and do that for the whole game.
I played a few games tonight. Every single match had team killers on them.. on on both teams... This shit needs to get fixed.
the only way i can see this working is by keeping a own team killed counter... three strikes and your out... but then again, some times it is on accident esp with grenades sometimes it would be nice to see stats for some players like: own team kills per game
Not bad luck but I notice on the weekends all the kids go online and start TK'ing. During the weeknights it pretty tame.
Just realized I'm playing hardcore (FF on) whereas you're probably playing Non-Hardcore so yeah, you get kicked. Hardcore is all I play though.
