Man assaults child over Gears of War // Xbox 360 News // Xbox 360 Gamer Magazine Online
Not sure if I trust an article that uses the word "bummer". That could be exaggeraeted disgustingly for the purpose of making it seem like a lot more than it really was.
Yea well so does every media outlet these days.. Exaggeration to the favor of the writers morals are always apparent in an article these days.
Well we know that theres no way it was an accidental punch, he was beaten if he landed in the hospital with multiple wounds.
"According to reports currently floating around the internet, "
Now that's the way to start an article.....really instills confidence for trueth.
I'm not going to believe any article by the company that promotes the console. Controversy sells, and conrtoversy doesn't neccessarily have to be based in fact to sell any product.
I can totally see this crap happening though, it's not a far fetched thing. That shit comes down every year now....sickening maddness.
Still beating a kid over a video game is wrong no matter how you word it in a article
wow just wow
That is so sad. It's crap like this that brings up arguements of whether or not video games has a negative effect on people. But truth be told, there are idiots in the world who do stupid things, and video games just happen to be there at the wrong time.
The point about the wording at the beginning is that they're admittedly just reporting a rumor that may as likely be untrue as true. (Actually, since that's all they can say and there's no verification, prolly more likely untrue)
IF true, unfortunately not surprising; this sort of shopping hysteria does happen but isn't limited to gaming. Capitalism at work, possessions > people.
So very true. If it wasn't a vid game, it'd be an Elmo or some other shit.
