So are your pc specs good enough for street fighter 4 on pc? Ihad to upgrade my graphics card so i could run SF4 use my arcade setup.
I have no idea, what are the specs for sf4? I do know that currently it cannot run tekken very smoothly and has some small hiccups with killer instinct.
And guys I'm not really too concerned about criticism. I knew my cab wouldn't be the best as this is my first try. I actually welcome constructive criticism, you never know, I might be able to improve it still. My only concerns and I think I achieved it was not to have a "crapmame" worthy cab.
CHANGE THE WHITE STRIPS TO RED or BLUE DAMMITTTTT or a badass neon green there! theres my constructive criticism and yes ive seen plenty crapmame cabs and i almost wanna throw up because of the raw materials wasted on a huge cab with 15" monitor.
I love the blue personally. This thread is pretty damn awesome. Makes me want to build one, but I don't have the time or space. You know what else would be great? Installing GGPO on it. GGPO.net - Home - Lag Free, Online Arcade Gaming Goodness
Hah, best first post ever. Obviously you didn't make a "muuuuch better" one if you have to stroke your ego with a post like that.
the red is very mortal kombat so is the blue i like the green though as long as you got some matching lightbar graphic or side graphics. blue matches your house though, though you wont be keeping it in there right? man, that cab is neat and perfect!
I got a little more done today. I created a switch for my cab and now it turns on with one button. I basically took a plug and switch from a broken power supply and created a panel for with goes into an electrical box.
attention to detail!! perfection perfection perfecccttionn!!!! when you get done let me know how much shipping is to 38118
I remember all the cool kids knew where the reset button/switch was on the old arcade games. They usually booted up with atleast 5 credits.
^lol top left corner of cab. gotta reach up high into the corner. ahh the memories of resetting mk2 cabinets to look at the bookmarking bios posts
Torx is a "cool kid" . I'm talking 80's though. I remember every machine being different as far as the switch locations. Most were in the back but in different spots. I remember sticking my grubby little hands back there and feeling the hot exhaust on my face as I peeked behind. Defender was badass.
ah yes, youre talking old-oldschool were gonna need vimeo video when you get it running good. i cant get over that routed inset poewr panel...
