looking for a new bike

    well my pops talked me outta a k5, so now its a new bike.

    i want a harley
    i can't afford a harley

    so i've been looking at honda shadows and kawasaki vulcans

    either the 1100 or the 1500 respectively


    so does anyone know much about them, i'd be looking to get a 95+

    dont want to spend much over 4 grand

    Suzuki and Yamaha have a couple options in your price.

    I think I've seen a few HD sportsters that might fit your budget too, but maybe that's not quite what your looking for.

    Just dont buy a buel, There nothing but trouble. I love the vulcans my dad had one traded it for a vtx1100.

    idk really, just that its old, gonna hog gas blah blah blah

    then he offered to go halfsies on a classic car, throw some work into it sell it for a profit and repeate. i still might do that.

    What's wrong with Buells? Mine's got over 40,000 miles on it, and runs perfect. It's reliable, and will kick the living shit out of most other sportsbikes in the quarter mile. And, most of all, it's a hell of a lot more fun due to the fact that it has such a broad power and torque band. What else do you need?
