So as the title says, it's been a while. I remember rushing home to come on this forum back in 10th grade, 2001.

    What is everybody doing now?

Maybe surprising to some of the previous posters here, I never ended up in prison. I turned 34 a few days ago. I left the Midwest going on 6.5 years ago, and I'm happy I did.

I've been in Miami for a little while, going on 3 years. Found a girl and we're just kinda playing it how it goes. No kids. Learning Spanish, not sure if we'll stay here long term since the economy doesn't really support my kind of job. Who knows.

I work for an unnamed software company. I do a lot of debugging, mostly within SQL. Eliminating resource heavy queries and what not. Trying to decide where to go from here.

    How about you?

I was just wondering about you last week....and here you are.
Life is being life, I retire in 2 weeks only to become care giver for three people full time.

I lived in Miami Beach back in 2010, didn't like it too much. Too much smoking indoors really spoiled my time. Although, it's much worse in the Middle East with smoking.

I did meet some of the T3D crew that lives down there tough at a place called Tobacco Road. Do me a favor and stop by Deweys and Ted's Hideaway some time.

I've been riding around 30 miles on my bicycle every weekend, the past few weeks. The rest of my time is spent rearranging my life (or avoiding doing so), and figuring out what comes next.

Working and raising my kids. Not much else to report. The wheel keeps on turning for us.

Here I am all retired and shit. I decided, after the first week, to retire but still work 20 hours a week. (just to keep from being bored out of my skull)
With 20 hours of work and care giving, my plate is full.

    Good to see ya, Nidex!

I am medically retired from the Navy, and work as a civilian contractor for the Navy doing IT and Software Integration work. I work way too many hours, but the money is great. I live out in Virginia with my wife, son, and a ton of animals. Life isn't all that bad on my end.
