So I would like to share some of my art with you.

these are all drawn with pencil ranging from 2B to 8B on Arches (printmaking/drawing) paper. each panel measures 30 X 42 inches.

    here are my latest pieces

    not yet titled

    right panel:
Tenebrous Assimilation: Culling Into the Amalgamation of Identities
    30" x 42"
    pencil on paper

    left panel:
Tenebrous Assimilation: The Desolation of the Physiognomy of Autonomy
    30" x 42"
    pencil on paper

Emancipation Proclamation: Chameleonic True Dual Nature
    42" x 30"

I also made myself a bass based on the Warmoth Gecko neck. the body is an original design. all tone controls are located on the cavity cover on the rear.

I also have a bunch of music that I wrote over the years that's really heavy and might cause hemorrhaging in your ears. extreme metal is an acquired taste I guess. I'll post that some other time.
    HEAVY-D says thanks for this.

You should do album covers for indie metal bands for sure.

hey it's torques! thanks man :D

yeah. during the time i was away from t3d, i graduated from the university of washington, in which the senior year of it I started the above series, and then attended the school of the art institute of chicago, which was a complete waste of two years, then moved to south korea and now this is what i'm doing.

it takes a couple months to finish one piece, if i work 5 hours a day. i'm a slow worker though.

Great stuff, very H.R. Giger/ Alex Grey feeling, I dig it. I second what the others are saying, you should definitely contract some work for album artwork.

Wow, you are doing awesome, man! It's great seeing how successful that the members of Tweak have become. Been a rough ride for many, but we all seem to come out on top some way or another.

    Keep up the good work!!

is such a thing even possible?

have you meddled with other mediums like charcoal or pen?
i bet you could rock out with some good charcoal. thats my fav medium aside from a good black ink pen.

any materials or preferred pencil brands??
sheesh man, im still floored, and the scale size is even spectacular.

also, whats your method to not smearing your hands/arms on your work? are you using a mahl stick or arm/hand elevator?

yeah i've a lot of different media... i have two art degrees lol :):(:):(:):(:)

i don't like charcoal, it's too messy and hard to manage. i like precision and the ability to experiment with different lines, and that's why I use pencil often.

I put a piece of paper or acetate film under my palm. and a lot of erasing :D I go through a whole eraser for one drawing. and half a dozen pencils of varying degrees of softness. i was thinking about making a gigantic lift so that I can suspend myself over my drawings back when I was in college, but decided it was too much work. I can use one of those if I were to make something bigger, though.

You should call that series your "Borg Queen Collection" :) That sound classier than "Boobs and Backbones" or "Nipples and Discs"...
