Just closed on my first home today. I'm very excite. I'll have more/better pics once I'm moved in and settled, but here are a few teasers.

it's about 1700 sq foot built in 2007 3/2/2 on a quarter of an acre. I picked it up for 155, with the buyer paying almost 5k closing. woot!

very quaint house, built in 2007 so you shouldnt have any issues for a very long time. kitchen looks superb.
and looks like a house around here that can be had for the 100-150 range. I would say thats a good buy.

thanks guys! it was definitely a steal. it appraised at close to 190, back when they 1st bought it. They had just marked it down from 170, and I snatched it up. The cabinets are all custom, with granite counters. Those cabinets are in all the bathrooms, as well as the utility room. Once I'm moved in (sometime next week) I'll post more/better pics

    Speaking of homes and money.

Just got a water bill. It's usually $100/2 months.

It is like $2,700. Over 2,400 gallons a day.

    Yah, something is wrong.

    And I'm in Canada.

My brother has actually been over every day taking care of my cats, and he hasn't noticed anything, and yesterday when the bill came, my uncle and brother came over to look around, couldn't find anything leaking or running.

So my uncle is meeting with a city water inspector person today and see what he can figure out. Right now my uncle is thinking a busted pipe under the building...

    Well, moving sucks!

I've decided I'm paying someone next time lol. Still have to unpack, but I did hook up my surround sound and wallmount the TV. (need a bigger one now, looks tiny in this living room heh.) I must say though, having a larger room really really opens up the Monitor 70's. These things KICK. Even at a much lower volume than I used to have it set to at my tiny apartment, these are a million times cleaer and much louder. Even my shitty 100w sub sounds amazing.

Anyway, the people who lived here have not switched over their internet yet, so I'm using it until monday when thiers gets disconnected, and mine turned on. So at least I won't be too bored. And pics will be coming just as soon as I finish unpacking.
